HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, JUNE 28, 2010 -- Sharp Solar Energy Solutions Group, a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation has been awarded a U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) schedule 056 contract to supply solar modules directly to government purchasers. The award indicates that Sharp has passed rigorous review by the administration and met its high standard for state-of-the-art quality for Building Materials/Industrial Services and Supplies.
GSA establishes long-term government wide contracts with manufacturers to provide federal, local and state government agencies purchasing access to commercial suppliers through the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system.
