installation training

training dates

With the world’s longest history in solar manufacturing, Sharp shares its vast knowledge of proper installation techniques for our solar electric systems. Installing a Sharp PV system requires a thorough understanding of solar principles, components, capabilities, and practical considerations like wiring and mounting hardware. In Sharp’s basic residential installation training, participants follow a typical solar installation and receive a technical manual that serves as a highly-effective field reference. Our three-day curriculum covers solar installation basics including site assessment, system design, safety, all system components, mounting, tools, module and inverter installation and operation and review.

State-licensed contractors who complete our solar installation training course and pass Sharp's comprehensive exam will receive formal certification from Sharp Electronics Corporation for installations. Non-licensed individuals may attend the course but only state licensed contractors will receive a certificate of completion. Register today for the next available class in Mahwah, NJ or Huntington Beach, CA, and put your new skills to work immediately!
