Sharp Lens Calculator - PC Full Install - Version 3.1
Introducing the Sharp Lens Calculator. This technical tool can calculate throw distance and image size for Sharp's complete line of multimedia projectors and all available lens configurations. The Sharp Lens Calculator can print detailed reports that include specific information about your project, and save your file for later reference. We at Sharp, in an effort to get you the most up-to-date information, will include patches from time to time. It is recommended that you check back here and download the most recent updates as often as you can.

Sharp Lens Calculator - Patch 3.1 - PC
Here is the newest version/update for the Sharp Lens Calculator. It is a self-extracting, self-installing piece. Once you download it, make sure the lens calculator is closed, and double click it to execute it. This patch has all of our recently added projectors (as of 9/1/07) including the
XG-PH70X/XN (including optional lenses), XG-F315X,
PG-F320W, PG-F310X, PG-F261X, PG-F211X, PG-F200X, XR-40X, XR-30X and XR-30S. Measurements are broken down to two decimal places for a more accurate description. This update is vital, and we highly recommend you download it immediately. Please note, if you are updating from a version prior to 2.9, you should download the full version. It is important to download all the patches sequentially, or you will need to download the full version.

S.A.P.S. v1.60 - (Sharp Advanced Presentation and
control Software for legacy models introduced prior to 2005.)
S.A.P.S. allows a user to do the following through an RS232C port:
  • Projector Control from a PC
  • Monitor the Projector's Operational Status from a PC
  • Set a projector password (to limit who may use the projector), as well as set a "Keylock" Level Control (to limit which functions of the projector may be operated by the user)
  • Save onto the Projector the customized startup and background images
  • Capture and transfer images or presentations from the PC to the projector

Wireless Reality Firmware Upgrade
To address reports of intermittent Wireless Reality operation on the M25 using Windows XP, we have provided a software upgrade for the Wireless LAN cards supplied with the projector. The attached program will allow users to upgrade the firmware on our AN-WC11B Wireless LAN Cards to improve communication in Windows XP environments. If your you operate the M25X with Windows XP, please install this update. (It will be necessary to update both Wireless LAN cards). This upgrade is not mandatory for Windows XP users and need only be installed if intermittent operation is experienced. It will not add any new feature content and improved communications will only be realized with Windows XP.

The attached file is being provided to you for your reference and if needed by you. Customers who would like to upgrade the firmware in their Wireless LAN card to improve Windows XP communications or need technical assistance should contact the Customer Assistance Center at 888-GO-SHARP (Option 2). The software upgrade and installation instructions will be sent via e-mail. This upgrade will also be posted to our SMART site for dealer download.

Note: This upgrade is for the Wireless Cards; the projector does not need to be upgraded.
