Through its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC), Sharp's business activities in the United States include manufacturing, distribution, marketing, sales, and servicing of Sharp products. Sharp Electronics Corporation and its business units manufacture and sell a diverse range of products including LCD televisions, home theater and audio systems, appliances, solar energy products, multifunction business products, fax machines, calculators, point of sale systems, microelectronic devices, and professional multimedia projectors, and LCD monitors.

Mahwah-based Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA) focuses on the planning, marketing, and selling of consumer products in the categories of video, audio, and appliances.  Specific lines include AQUOS® LCD TVs, Blue-ray Disc players, audio systems, air purifiers, Microwave Drawer® ovens, and microwave ovens.

With executive offices in Mahwah and a workforce spread across the continental U.S., the Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) markets, sells, and services advanced multifunctional peripheral (MFP) systems that help companies manage workflow efficiently and increase productivity.  SIICA sells products and services through both an independent dealer network and its own direct sales operation known as Sharp Business Systems (SBS).

Through its main staffing location in Huntington Beach, California, the Solar Energy Systems Group (SESG) represents Sharp’s solar business in the United States.  Offering residential, commercial, off-grid and utility-scale solar products, SESG is one reason why Sharp powers more homes and businesses than any other solar manufacturer worldwide.

Headquartered in Romeoville, Illinois, the Sharp Services and Solutions Group (SSG) provides best in class support for Sharp product customers located throughout North/ South America ranging from Dealers to Servicers to End Users.  Sharp’s AQUOS Advantage Program supports 32” and above AQUOS LCD-TV models with an online membership program offering numerous customer loyalty based features.  Additionally, SSG delivers service offerings such as an industry leading customer assistance center, product repair, product exchange, extended warranty service contracts, product refurbishment, circuit board exchange, and many other customer driven programs.

From its Miami office, the Latin America Group (LAG) manages Sharp Electronics Corporation’s Latin American sales and marketing operations, excluding Brazil and Mexico. LAG staff work with distributors throughout the region and oversee sales and marketing of consumer electronics products, office equipment, MFPs and multi-media products.

Sharp Laboratories of America (SLA), situated in Camas, Washington, is Sharp's U.S. research and development facility.   Research specialties include new consumer and offices systems technologies, multimedia communications, video and display information processing as well as materials devices and systems for solar energy generation and electronic medical and wellness systems.  For more information about job opportunities at SLA, please visit sharplabs.com.
