Copier & Printer Sustainability Programs

Sharp Toner Recycling Program

As part of our commitment to protecting the environment, Sharp supports responsible end-of-life recycling of Multi-Function Printers (MFPs). MFPs are recycled through certified e-waste partners, where materials such as plastics, metals, and electronic components can be recovered for reuse or recycling. This recycling process is outlined in EPEAT Provision 4.6.1.1, Product Take-Back Service , which provides details on MFP and printer recycling.

Display and Television Recycling

Since September 2007, Sharp Electronics Corporation, together with Panasonic Corporation of North America and Toshiba America Consumer Products, LLC, has operated the MRM program in the United States.

Collected devices are sent to certified e-waste recycling facilities where they are carefully dismantled, and valuable materials such as metals, plastics, and glass are recovered and recycled. These efforts help minimize waste, support a circular economy, and ensure that electronics are recycled in an environmentally responsible and compliant manner under applicable state laws.
